I saw this really cool travel journal for way too much money back in 2007. It had headings on each page: Destination, Dates, Accomodations, Traveling Companions, Highlights.
Then I saw this cute little “Travel Journal” with blank pages. And being that I am able to actually write, I decided to buy IT instead, as it was cuter and way cheaper and write in all those headings.
This began my Travel Journal in 2007…that goes with me on all my travels. That’s 8 years of documenting.
I decided to pick some highlights to feature on this post, to share with you…
Raleigh, North Carolina, USA
Seattle, Washington, USA
Spoleto, Umbria, Italy
Puerto Galera, Mindoro, Philippines
I love that one day, my kids can look back and see all the places I traveled, and then consider some of them to travel to as well, because of my experiences there.
As well, I don’t know about you, but I sure cannot remember every single place I laid my head when I traveled. And some of them were great experiences that I would want to relive again. Having them written down makes it easy for me to see the name and use those accomodations again, whether its a hotel, b&b, friends place, or Airbnb!
How do you document your travels? Journal? Online blog? Photos? Share with me your ways. 🙂
