Our Mytilene & Agiasos Day Trip is the perfect day if you want a bit of city and a bit of traditional Greek village!

We will have a walking tour of the medieval Castle of Mytilene and the Archaeological Museum before making our way to the agora, or shopping area, of the city centre. Here you will get a great glimpse of local life in the city – perusing shops to buy everything from local delicacies, a nice new outfit and more!

From here we will make our way to the area of Varia and Taxiarches, just south of the city centre where we will see the museum of local painter Theofilos before we head to a traditional ouzeri to enjoy a delicious ouzo meze lunch with spectacular views.

We will then head out of town to Agiasos – not before seeing the magnificent 1300th Century Roman aqueducts near Moria village. Once we get to Agiasos, a traditional village with many streets and shops to discover, we will find ourselves wandering and imagining what life 50 years ago was like.

We end our day in a 100+ years old traditional kafeneio where Greek coffee and “spoon sweets” will make the perfect ending of a wonderful day!
