Some of my fave culinary delights in Turkiye
One of my favourite ways to experience Türkiye is through its food — each dish tells a story of tradition, family, and flavour. Here are a few of my favourites:
🥟 Manti
Tiny hand-folded dumplings filled with meat, served with garlicky yogurt and drizzled with melted butter and chili. A true taste of Turkish home cooking.

🥛 Ayran
A cool, frothy yogurt drink mixed with water and a pinch of salt. Simple, refreshing, and the perfect companion to a hearty meal on a warm day.

🍢 Adana Kebab
Spiced ground lamb grilled over open flames, named after the city of Adana. Smoky, juicy, and served with flatbread and grilled vegetables — pure comfort.

🍵 Turkish Tea (Çay)
Strong, black tea served in tulip-shaped glasses. Shared morning to night, tea is the heartbeat of daily life here — an invitation to slow down and connect.

🍬 Lokum (Turkish Delight)
Soft, chewy sweets dusted with sugar, often flavoured with rose, pistachio, or pomegranate. A sweet tradition that has been enjoyed for centuries.

Traveling through Türkiye means tasting history, culture, and hospitality in every bite. ✨
