Galata Tower in Istanbul| Real Travel Experiences

This 9 storey tower was Istanbul’s tallest building at the time it was built in 1348. It stands today just as tall and is the best place to see an amazzzzzing panoramic view of the Golden Horn and Bosporus as well as the Old City where the Topkapi palace and the Blue Mosque were.
And the surrounding areas of Galata tower are so quaint – shops, coffee bars, cobblestone streets. It’s a favorite of mine. 🙂
It’s worth the line to go up to the top, but there isn’t always a line. 🙂
