How to find great deals on flights | Travel Tips
Finding cheap flights isn’t as difficult as you may think it is.
If you are flexible with dates and where you begin and end, then you may be pleasantly surprised!
Two of my favorite websites I use are Travelpirates.com and Google.com/flights
I will also say I use an “incognito” browser window when I search, so that the site doesn’t keep charging more and more every time you check back on the flight you have been prowling.
If I am going, for example to Turkey, I will try and do multi-city flights – so Manila to Istanbul – Istanbul to Rome – Rome to Manila and presto – some seriously cheap flights.
Also booking 3 weeks out from when you fly is a pretty awesome time to book the cheapest flights as well.
Don’t forget to make sure you check to see if you need to purchase luggage allowance, as some flights wont include it at discounted rates. As well, make sure you have the option to reschedule ticket if necessary.
There are so many great ways to get cheap tickets to travel – these are a couple of my favorite sites that help!
Go ahead and start playing with some crazy locations – I just did – a flight from Manila to Istanbul to rome and then back to Manila – just over $1000. Ok let’s go! 😉
