The house of Mary. The house where the virgin is said to have lived in her later years after Jesus was born.
The grounds are beautiful, and the house is very humble yet serene.
Along with the home of Mary, there are fountains of “Holy water”, as well as places to write prayers and leave them, and light candles.
You do not need to be of any faith or a certain faith to appreciate this remarkable place.
Turkey has so many spectacular places to visit, so many hidden (and unhidden) treasures to discover!
