Berber Nomads in the Desert ||Morocco Travel Experience
One of the most precious things we did when we were in the desert was visit a nomadic village.
We took some clothes and school supplies and gave to one family in particular. I watched as this little guy stood, with questions in his eyes and hesitation in his step, probably wondering, who were these people and what were they doing here.
But as gifts were given, his face began to lighten up, and a smile began to form on his sweet little face. He was beautiful.
One day I shall go back to this village, or one like it…and be among them, even for a short time..to tell their stories, through my lens..stories that are priceless and gorgeous. Stories that need to be told. Stories that are beautiful, that show the lives of these beautiful ones…Just like this little boy.
