Laundry Day in Chefchaouen | Real Morocco Travel Experience
When we were in Chefchaouen, we had a morning with a local guide, Mohammed, who took us all throughout the old medina.
At the beginning of our walk we passed by an area which is a community laundry area where the women wash their clothes, together at the river.
I can ONLY imagine the conversations that are had there every morning; the newest recipes and dishes made the night before discussed, how the children are doing at school, what is new at their husband’s work, the new neighbour that moved in from Casablanca…hehehe…I’m sure it would be the sure place to be a fly on a wall!
