Sunset Hike at the Spanish Mosque in Chefchaouen| Morocco Real Travel Experience

I wouldn’t say I’m a hiker, per say, but I do like to walk and with an incline is ok too!

The Spanish Mosque located just east of the medina of Chefchaouen up the hill is an easy 30-45 minute for anyone. You can walk it fast or slow..whatever you prefer.

The view as you go up changes. The surroundings on the side of the mountain changes. Until you are overlooking not only the medina to the right but the entire Rif valley in front of you.

If the weather is good and the sky not too cloudy, it makes for an absolutely stunning view.

And to watch the sky change as the sun dips lower and lower….breathtaking.

I definitely recommend it if you have the pleasure of being in Chefchaouen. 🙂
